This weekend...I fell in love...

...with this couch, at Li-Fi, on Oxford st!! So sexy - as far as vintage furniture goes :) The jugs of cocktails were pretty freakin awesome too! xxx

Another move..

Packing up and moving. Again. (next week, actually) Same suburb, same street, different apartment. Am going to make cupcakes tomorrow & try and stop whinging about this dreadful season we call winter. Man, I miss the outback and all its warm, balmy goodness... x

Not all those who wander are lost...

I have no idea what I'm doing right now, I'm loving it in Sydney, but nothing seems to be happening...I know I'm exceptionally impatient and yet I'm trying not to freak out and just take life as it comes... Im trying new things and enjoying the new changes in my life. Today, I spent about 3 hours in a cafe on my little laptop applying for jobs and drinking waaaaay too much coffee...I'm just trying to chill, take it easy and see what falls into place...and hopefully, it all will :)

I feel I can relate to this song in sooooo many ways and it always, ALWAYS makes me smile :) My sister and I made it number 1 on our local pub's jukebox and pretty much converted EVERY local pub dweller to absolutely love this song (even if they wouldnt admit it)....soooo many memories :)

Sea change :)

I know, its been way too long, but I have a good excuse! I moved. To the other side of the country. Left my beloved little town in the outback to broaden my horizions in Sydney!! I never thought I'd live in the city!! But now I do. For now anyway. And so far, so good. MY apartment is super cute & old and a 4 min walk from the beach, cafes, basically anything you need!! Its quite lovely...I havent really thought much about what & who I've left behind (which is a good thing) so I have managed to fit into city life a lot better than I thought :)

It's been a little while now...

I know! I've been away for a while now! I've been interstate and outtastate, moving houses a bunch of times and havent had much net time at all. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and are getting excited to defy all odds and actually have an awesome New Year!! But I'll be back very soon, just sorting out a few things! Cant wait to get some into some fresh new blog action in the new year :)

When words fail, music speaks...

Music is such a good way to convey how you're feeling, I have so many songs that correlate with different times in my life. I also have this friend who sometimes doesn't like to listen and music is the only way to get through to him...but it does eventually work :)
